Snow Canyon Red Sands Overlook

While hiking around in Snow Canyon, Utah, I fell in love with this view along the petrified dunes trail and looking towards red sands, before descending down the valley towards red sands.  I didn't have my painting equipment with me, so I returned the next day and hiked in with my kit.  Snow Canyon is one of those places that I return to often and am never disappointed.  Red rock is always a challenge for me, and yet I am always drawn back to painting it time and time again.
